How To Connect with Mexico’s REALTORS®

Jeff Hornbergerby Jeff Hornberger

There is no doubt there are inbound and outbound real estate opportunities with Mexico. Our neighbor to the south is the #1 destination for Americans moving overseas, and the #3 international investor in U.S. property.  As the resort and second home market shows sustainable growth and real recovery, especially in resort and second home destinations, Mexico may be on the radar screen of many buyers and they may go to local REALTORS® as a first point of contact.

Locations such as Mexico’s Mayan Riviera, a hundred mile coastline stretching from Cancun south to the Belize border, offer numerous real estate developments catering to USA and Canadian buyers at many different price points, and developers are eager to partner with REALTORS® to share clients and referrals.  While the Mexico real estate profession is not regulated, the members of NAR’s partner group, AMPI, subscribe to a common code of ethics and their members are also international REALTOR® members and eager to partner with their international counterparts.ampi summit logo

  1. Won’t it be nice if this event had a live web cast for those who could not attend!

  2. I agree that it would be great if there were a way to have a webinar or something that would accommodate the people , such as I, who are interested but unable to attend.
