3 Ways to Connect With Global Agents – From Your Own Couch

Not so long ago, if you wanted to be a player in the international real estate arena, you had few options but to hop on an airplane and travel the world to meet potential clients and referral partners. This limited the playing field to those who could afford the price tag that comes with being a world traveler. But that was before the internet. And email. And more recently…social media.

Now, you can connect with thousands of international real estate professionals without leaving your couch. NAR Global offers several channels for you to introduce yourself to the global real estate community:

NAR Global LinkedIn Official Group: NAR Global

If you are a CIPS designee, you also have access to a private, designee-only Facebook networking group. Email us at cips@realtors.org for access to that group.

And, of course, you have already joined the conversation on The Global View blog. Don’t forget to sign up for email alerts or RSS feed to make sure you don’t miss any of the great content from the blog!

What other channels are you using to connect with global professionals?

It has been some time now that most intelligent people stopped travelling to destinations in order to get a better idea about the property they are willing to buy. Today all you need to do is go to a well-reputed international property aggregator website (such as zoopla, rightmove, KnightFrank, or Tranio) and they will give you all assistance you may ever need to find and buy your dream property, including legal advice, drone footage, panoramic views, what not.. Tranio is a truly international company with a great coverage of locations across the EU and the US. Moreover, what really makes property auction platforms so popular (some of them are more popular than Yahoo!) is that they usually don’t charge you any fees at all. As a real estate investor I vote for such online brokerage companies with my both hands.
